I just started my first 50gal. Hope it turns out as well as your scapes. =)

Urm, I have some medium lighting, but getting some fuzz algae on my plants. I've been dosing Excel CO, but it's not helping drastically. Can you recommend a solution for me? :nirvana:

I love your aquascaping, I always dreamed of making some thing like this but I chose saltwater aquariums, and I've been plagued with stubborn algae on my sand, and a legion of pests. You may have convinced to go back to fresh water. Any resources that helped you get started?

Forums are good places to go for info-- read on how other people started up. I'd personally avoid getting involved with the politics, but to each his own.

Aquaticplantcentral.com is a really popular one

Aquascapingworld.com is small, but I personally like it more.

Aquascapingworld.com forums are the best place to go for this stuff . . . just don't get sucked into politics. Just use it as a resource.
